They say it’s who you know, not what you know…. Earlier this week I managed to do something to my back, absolutely no idea what, when or how, but it progressively got worse throughout the day and by teatime on Monday I couldn’t stand up straight, I was stooping over like a very old man in need of a zimmer frame! I decided an early bedtime was needed so off I went at 20:30 ... A restless night followed, not being able to get comfortable and I woke in a similar state to the night before. I somehow managed to get to a pharmacy to get some painkillers, but then I was done! At this point, I realised that I could reach out to Rebecca Oliver. In short, the message was "I need help! I’m broken!" At 11:45am I was in the clinic at Oliver Wellbeing seeing Chris. I prepared myself for an uncomfortable hour with the knowledge that it would get better. What followed truly exceeded all my expectations, the thoroughness in questioning and then treatment put my body and mind at complete ease. Yes, there was some discomfort during the thorough investigation and diagnosis, but it was manageable as Chris was constantly checking in with me, which in itself was very reassuring. Now this isn’t a miracle cure scenario, there are ongoing exercises and pain management to do, but the expectations of what the recovery looks like are what have put me at such ease now. It could take a few months to be fully recovered. However, if I had not messaged Rebecca, I imagine that with a few painkillers I’d be doing ParkRun again on Saturday and potentially causing myself some serious pain and longer-term problems. In short, I am so grateful for knowing about Oliver Wellbeing and I've learned to ask for help as soon as possible.

I was advised to see Rebecca a few weeks ago to help with visceral issues. From the first appointment, my issues were pretty much sorted! Rebecca is very knowledgeable and a lovely person to talk to. Definitely recommend :)

I have been seeing Chris on a regular basis for about a year, and recommend his services to anyone who will listen. Really attentive and clinically robust treatment.

Have been seeing Rebecca here for a few months due to a recurring knee issue - drastically improved and really happy with the outcome! Plus, they are all really nice, which is a bonus!

I have been seeing Rebecca at Oliver Wellbeing monthly since June of this year. I can not recommend her expertise enough. Not only is her knowledge and understanding about individuals' needs next to none. Rebecca uses a holistic approach to ensure you come out of the treatment room feeling calm, relaxed and listened to. Oestopaths need to be further recognised as a profession that offers patients a unique experience and great health and wellbeing benefits.

Rebecca was recommended to me by a friend so I went to see her for a Mummy MOT. The experience was beyond anything I expected, she has provided treatment on the spot to help with recovery but also been a savour to answer all the questions that I wouldn’t know who else to ask. Rebecca is incredibly fast to respond to anything & provide advice even when not at an appointment. I can’t recommend the service enough & have raved about it to anyone I know with kids…. Wether they are newborn or 20 years old. A Mummy MOT should be essential in my opinion. I didn’t really understand the role of an osteopath before but now will definitely use Oliver Wellbeing going forwards.

I saw Rebecca today for a Mummy MOT following the birth of my second daughter. Not only did she put me at ease immediately (she is lovely!), she also explained everything as she went along and even helped to address some issues from my first pregnancy six years ago. Thanks again for a brilliant experience and would highly recommend! Xx

I started seeing Rebecca years ago for sciatica and have recently returned following the birth of my first child for a mummy MOT and follow up treatment. The commitment to providing the best service goes soo much deeper than the physical element of the treatement. With a focus on mental well-being but also taking the time to fully understand your story and history to get a better understanding of the toll your body has been under. There’s a reason I came back after soo many years, having tried other osteopaths, and I can’t recommend the clinic enough.
